4. Important UV tanning information

UV radiation from tanning equipment can damage the skin and eyes. Exposure can contribute to premature skin ageing and increases the risk of skin cancer.

Never use UV tanning equipment if you are under 18.
Always wear the approved eye protection required by TAN.
Follow the session time and frequency recommended by trained staff.
Never use a sunbed and sunbathe outdoors on the same day.
Do not exceed the manufacturer's exposure schedule.
Remove cosmetics, perfumes and products that may increase sensitivity before tanning.
Stop the session and tell a member of staff immediately if you experience pain, excessive heat, burning, dizziness or discomfort.
Do not use UV equipment while you have sunburn.
TAN may postpone or refuse a session where staff believe it may be unsafe or unsuitable.
